Hello from Rain Drenched Keizer

Thank you Megan for responding to the students. Back at home it's cold and raining. The kids are all hoping for snow this winter. In fact yesterday it snowed at Mt. Hood 15 inches in 24 hours.

  5. Thank you very much for writing me back. I appreciate the time you are taking to write me. Today I have a few general questions and one specific question. A few of the questions are a little about getting to know you… Like what is your favorite color? What is your favorite food? Questions like that. The number 1 question I would like you to answer is... What made you want to do what you are doing for a living? Well thank you for your time.

  8. Did you know that I had to take a bath in a bucket before? The plumbing wasn’t working, so I had to, but I didn’t smell any better after that.
How snowy does it get there? Does it snow there? If it snows do you ski or sled? Do they celebrate Halloween there? Do they celebrate Christmas there? I went to Hawaii in 2009. June 26th my Birthday.

    YOURS TRULY,
    JEREMIAH

  9. Hello Megan, In Keizer there is supposed to be a big snow storm sometime this winter. There was a big snow storm two years ago and it was awesome. We got one day of snow last year but of course I was gone to California for Christmas. That wasn’t fun for me but oh well. Taylor O.

  16. I was wondering how the hotels looked different from the ones in America. And I was thinking how different it is in Nicaragua from America. It sounded really fun teaching other people and it sounds cool to have a experience like taking a bucket bath or sweating so much. And finally thanks for responding back to me last time.

  17. When I read the story called a fun trip at the end of the story I saw the things that you listed that you never done before and it said you never had seen men on top the bus holding peoples bags. What did that feel like to you? I was also wondering how they stand while there driving do they just stand and hold the bags or do they sit and hold the peoples bags.

  43. Was it hard being in one room with a lot of people? Were the beds comfortable or were they as hard as a rock? So you don’t get to take a shower any time you want to? Wow! What is a bucket bath do you have to get your own water? That would stink because over here we just turn on the sink and we have water.

  44. Your trip to the volcano kind of sounds like my last summer; I took a road trip all the way to Michigan where my relatives live, we passed through all the tourist attractions. We went through Yellowstone National Park and saw Old Faithfull the geyser and a bunch of others. I saw the clearest water in the little pools. I think it’s because it was so hot it got rid of all the mud and everything. I also saw boiling bubbly natural clay pits and the sulfur smelled like rotten deviled eggs. Did the volcano smell like rotten eggs too?
